3Pretty but not made well

This chair is for occasional use... and would not stand up to an active family use I'm thinking. The chair I received had cracked wooden parts (not completely broken just poorly handled when it was partially assembled prior to me getting it) and the sharp end of nails poking out in the undersides hidden from view. I had to be especially careful not to gouge myself when putting screws and such in place due to the nails. The base of the chair bottom is only supported by straps. The foam in the cushion seems to get stuck for a bit until it springs back to shape if sitting in the chair for over an hour. The cloth is lower grade and will wear out pretty fast (it doesn't look like upholstery grade fabric). Even so, right now it looks pretty and hopefully with gentle treatment will last longer than what I anticipate.

Buying furniture online is a little risky. You just don't know what the quality is or how it will look. As a new mom, though, going to the store seemed like an impossible tasks. Enter in Amazon, and I can go on a little shopping spree. I bought this chair for a little corner in my front room. I wasn't really planning on sitting on it often, just wanted something nice for the area.When the chair arrived, my husband easily put it together (Ok, he did put the legs on backwards, but he saw his error the next day). It was the perfect color and texture. A dark brown with soft, velvety fabric. I wasn't expecting this chair to be comfortable, but it is very comfortable. It is extra wide so you can easily curl up into it with a good book.This chair is a great accent piece and fits my purposes, and I would love to have another one for my bedroom.
