I have owned this chair for 2 years now and have been very pleased with it overall. It is very comfortable and after 2 years of daily use (8+ hrs/day) plus 3 moves across state lines, it is still in good to okay condition.Like the previous reviewer stated, the arm rests are the weakest point of the chair. The cushion on the arm rests are foam with a textured plastic covering. The covering cracks and chips off, exposing the foam inside. Cracking happened after the first move (about 8 months of near-daily use) and chipping happened soon after that. The cracks could have been caused by use or by careless handling during the move. The origin of failure seems to be at the sides of the pads, where there is a seam of some sort. The area of the arm rests that comes in contact with your elbows and forearms, however, has not seen any damage. The arm rests themselves recently became loose and wobbly, but this is after 2 years of use.The rest of the chair is doing well. The leather on the seat has not worn thin, tore, or faded. The seat padding is as comfortable as when purchased. The mesh shows no wear or tear, the back support is still firm, and the plastic parts of the chair have not cracked or failed in any manner. The wheels are still attached and roll without hindrance and the adjustment mechanisms are all in working order.I am getting a new chair, however. The reason is that, as stated before, the foam in the arm rests has gotten exposed and I have terrible allergies to dust and pollen. The now-exposed foam traps dust and pollen and makes my allergies intolerable. For this reason I am going to buy a new desk chair, but I will be keeping this chair as a casual seat. After I remove the arm rests, of course. Definitely worth the price as long as you can tolerate the issue with the arm rests.

This chair is quite confortable, but the material covering the armrests hasbroken in several parts and it shows that it will continue deteriorating, soI am concerned because I do not know what to do, I will surely look awful.I wish the maker or the seller could offer me a solution. Really, the materialused for the armrests is different to the material of the seat.
