I have two observations regarding this chair, and one BIG gripe/warning!First of all, one the 4 threaded inserts to mount the front legs, was well on its way to being stripped as delivered. I had to chase the threads several times before I could install that leg.Secondly, this chair sits VERY low. It will remind you of the days in Kindergarten, when the seats of the little chairs were about 8" off the floor.All of the above could be overlooked depending on your tastes, except that this chair is without a doubt the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I have EVER parked my butt on! The only thing supporting your derriere is the very soft, rather bulbous seat cushion. There is no support underneath at all. You literally feel like you are going to fall right through the seat.The chair looks good, and will truly be an 'accent' chair, because we will not dare sit on it. Our other accent chair is a pleasure to sit on, albeit not quite as sporty to look at.All in all, a complete waste of $100+ incl shipping.

. Others have complained about the comfort or what have you, this is an "Occasional Chair" for a parlor or a dining room or for adding seating to your bedroom. I bought 2 of these chairs and was very very skeptical of what I would get, I had already gotten into my head " I am sending them back- I know I will not like them. These chairs are Beautiful, look as though they cost me much more, this is not your average "Crap Buy" these are identical to ones I saw for over $300 a piece, and these are comfortable and sit very well to me. This was an awesome deal for what I got, being on a low budget but doing massive over-haul to my home, finds like this save me time and money. I am very picky about what goes into my home for the long term, I am so happy about this purchase. I would choose stripe print as it is classic and can be both used in modern a more southern/ country. I understand sometime things are not perfect at all times, and maybe some do receive defective and or damaged goods.
